These Simple Pecan Pie Bars bring the richness of a classic pecan pie into bite-sized squares.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, salt, and cold butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Press the crust mixture evenly into the pan and bake for 18–20 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the crust bakes, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
- Stir in chopped pecans until well mixed.
- Pour the filling over the hot crust once it’s out of the oven.
- Bake again for 30–35 minutes, until the filling is set and golden on top.
- Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack for at least 2 hours.
- Once cool, lift out using parchment and slice into bars.
Notes
- These bars are great for gatherings and holiday dinners.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
