Description
Lasagna rolls are a creative and delicious way to enjoy the flavors of traditional lasagna. Pasta sheets are filled with creamy ricotta, spinach, and marinara sauce, rolled up, topped with melted cheese, and baked to perfection.

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara or meat sauce
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 cup cooked spinach or ground beef for variation
Instructions
- Cook Noodles: Boil lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and lay flat on parchment to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Filling: Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Assemble Rolls: Spread filling evenly over each noodle. Add a spoonful of sauce, then roll tightly.
- Arrange in Dish: Place rolls seam-side down in a baking dish. Cover with remaining sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
