Easy Christmas Stuffed Shells are a festive and comforting holiday dish filled with a creamy, cheesy ricotta mixture, baked in marinara sauce until golden and bubbly.

- 16 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Boil lasagna noodles until al dente, drain, and set aside to cool slightly.
- Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil, add marinara sauce, oregano, and basil, and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in a 9×13 dish, stuff each shell with the cheese mixture, and layer in the dish.
- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let the lasagna rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
