Delicious Bacon Wrapped Dates for Every Occasion

Description

Easy stuffed bacon-wrapped dates are a sweet, salty, crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for holidays, parties, and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 9 oz dates (jumbo pitted)
  • ½ pound bacon
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice the dates about a third of the way through and push the ends together to help open them.
  3. Add the blue cheese crumbles and stuff the dates. Repeat until all the dates are stuffed.
  4. Slice the bacon in half and wrap a piece around each of the dates.
  5. Secure the stuffed bacon-wrapped dates with a toothpick.
  6. Place on a wire rack over an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip the dates over.
  8. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  9. Remove the bacon from the oven once it’s cooked.
  10. Drizzle the bacon-wrapped dates with balsamic glaze and garnish with parsley.
